I write from the south of England devastated by the news of Patty’s passing.
May my deepest sympathies reach the Fulco home.
Words
can not sum up the kind of person patty was, but nice, caring, loving,
helpful, funny, happy and joyful come close. I’m yet to meet a better
man on my travels and I doubt I will. I apologise that I can not be in
Australia to celebrate Patty’s life.
But I wrote this in his honour.
Colours shine and colours fade
Bodies are buried and bones decay
But memories last forever
So preserve Patty’s
And keep it always to treasure
I would like to coin a phrase today, its called ‘Patty spirit’
So whenever anyone goes out of there way to help someone else
You’d say “he’s got ‘Patty spirit’”
Whenever anyone puts there hand up to get a job done
You’d say “that’s the Patty spirit”
And whenever anyone puts on a smile while facing life’s harsh realities
You’d say “keep up that Patty spirit mate”
So float on patty wherever you are
Be happy and free
And know that your spirit will live on
Into eternity
Rest in peace patty, the worlds a lesser place.
