The U17s had a disappointing day and went down 3-0 away to Bulli. For a change we started well and could have taken the lead when Matt Holmes beat the keeper only to see the ball bounce back of the post into the grateful keeper's arms. Against the run of play Bulli scored a goal from a long ball through the middle.
The second half was a different story with our boys never really in the game despite not lacking anything in effort. Maybe the amount of changes coming from having four subs upset our play.
Good games were had by Keelan Robinson, Drew Croft, Cameron Walters and a special thanks to Nathan McPhail who returned from injury to cover the goalkeeper position.more
