Cove Football Club would like to congratulate 3 of our juniors who have succeeded in other sports over the off Season. Damon Kerr and Ben Millman on being selected in the South Australian under 15 State Cricket team, reprsenting South Australia in the National Championships in Hobart. At the completiion of the championships Damon Kerr was selected in the Australian Team to play in the United Arab Emirates against the West Indies and South Africa in November. In Snooker Jordan Mitchell won the Australian under 16 Championship in Canberra. Well done to all three boys on their achievments.
It is great to see our juniors achieve whether it be football, other sport or academically.

Have finalised the coaching positions for season 2012
Cove welcomes to the club this year a number of new coaches and players we encourage all players and supporters to introduce themselves to the new coaches and players making them feel welcome.
Cove Football Club congratulates Under 16 Coach Geoff FARRUGIA on being awarded the SANFL Under 16 Coach of the year for 2011. This award was presented to Geoff on Friday 11th November in front of 450 people at the 16th Annual SANFL Coaches Dinner Awards at AAMI Stadium. This is a true reward for Geoff and his coaching panel for all the work he and they put into developing young men and footballers at Cove Football Club.
Well done Geoff.
COVE Football Club wishes to announce Senior/Club Coach for Season 2012 is Michael Moller who comes to the club from SAAFL club SHOC. Reserves Coach for season 2012 is again Duncan Begg.

The Cove Football Club is proud to support the shortridge family in their quest to raise money for the Cancer Council.
2011 will see them enter the City to Bay Fun Run. Cove Football Club would like all our Players, Supporters and Sponsors to join Brodies team in the City to Bay Fun Run or simply donate. They have created a fund raising page on behalf of Brodie and have provided the link to the website.
If you can't walk with the team then a simple donation to help find a cure for Cancer will do more than you will every know.
Cove Football CLub congratulates Josh Vick on his selection as Vice Captain of the South Australian State Country Football Team which is competing against Western Australia this weekend at AAMI Stadium from 1.10 p.m. as a Curtain Raiser to the Showdown.
On weekend of July 9 and 10 Josh Vick & Josh Ramsey represented Cove in the State Country Championships, both were selected to play in the Southern District team. Cove Football Club congratulates the boys on this selection. Cove also further congratulates Josh Vick on his selection in the team of the carnival.

Saturday 16th April the Cobras celebrated the announcement of our Greatest Team in our SFL History. A wonderful night was had by all with past players coming from across Australia to be part of the night.....

In Season 2011 the Southern Football League is celebrating 125 years of football. The SFL has requested that each team within the SFL name the BEST TEAM of their history for inclusion in a book being produced by the SFL to celebrate these teams.
Cove Football Club in support of the Southern Football League celebrating it's 125 years of football are hosting a dinner on Saturday 16th April to name Coves best team ever....
The COBRAS are calling on all past players to return to the club and support the COBRAS in 2011....If you have been away from the Club for a while now is the time to return to the Snake Pit....
