Vs. Phillip Island
at Terrill Park,
Saturday 1st June.
Well done girls on the win today at Tarwin. I feel that it wasn't one of our better games with lots of crowding being a big concern! With only 4 games to finals, we really need to step it up a notch and start playing consistent netball! Our leads and creating space were a bit messy today and we need to really focus on where each other are on the court so there's less crowding and more fluency down the court. Let's all get to training and work hard so we can get our momentum back for our game against Toora.

With a few girls out over the past few weeks, it was nice to have the full team back, resulting in a nice win. With lots of position changes throughout the game, it was great to see all the girls adjust well and keep the fluency of the game going.
With finals just around the corner we need to really knuckle down and work hard at training and continue with our determined attitude!

We played a great game against Tarwin. We tried some different combinations and the changes worked well. We worked hard to maintain possession when at times we were crowding and our transitions weren't fluent. The attacking end improved as the game went on with great drives to the circle and the ring. The defensive combinations worked well making it very difficult for Tarwin to get the ball into the ring. Let's keep the momentum going today against Toora.

Not a good day at the office today, Tarwin had changed their team from the first time we met, they were physical and no matter what we did, those balls would not drop through for us. We did get turn overs and had some good movement down the court but most of all frustration by all that our great team seemed a bit broken on the day.

Well done girls, another win on the board today. It was a slow start in the first quarter but by the second every thing was falling into place! As a team everyone settled in and played our game of netball ! Defense was tight, and we had the opportunity to bring a few balls to a stop and send them down the goalies ! Leads were strong though the centre with both of the wings working hard and backing up right till the end. Both the goalies worked well in the ring and making them count on the scoreboard ! Well done girls and a big welcome back to coach Wendy !
