 Nice win today girls in perfect conditions for netball!  You all played a great team game with lots of encouraging talk, great passages of play, strong leads, beautiful goaling and great defensive pressure throughout the game.

A great team effort girls with every one of you contributing to a nice win.  Our transition from defence to attack flowed really well, with great leads and creating space.  We had a couple of different combinations in both attack and defence and it was nice to see the versatility in this team being able to still combine well and play strong competitive netball!  Our last quarter was fantastic!  Our pressure on the opposition was causing them lots of held balls, intercepts and keeping them to one goal.
Amazing job girls, let's keep this attitude and intensity going for our game against IK.

U-17's:

What a fantastic game the team played today! A few girls had niggling injuries and illnesses, but the team lifted and played a strong, controlled game. The beautiful drives down court and feeds into the ring by the mid-courters allowed the goalers every opportunity to deliver on the scoreboard. The defence all over the court was impressive and all players contributed to a good win. Well done girls!

A beautiful day for it and a beautiful game to be part of. With a third of our team out this week and not a lot to draw on, we had the always impressive Jasmine take the court to make our seven! Her first game of the season - post baby, and what a pearler. Everyone worked well on the court and the defensive end kept sending it toward our offense where Sarah and Tegan, playing as though they were one, kept them dropping through the net. Thanks to Kim for sitting just in case. We have one more chance, let’s give it a go as we are good enough !

Well deserved win girls! We had some beautiful passages of play with lovely firm passes down the court. Haley played a very consistent game, great stuff! Katie was driving beautifully, we all held a good focus throughout the four quarters. Great to hear Tameka's voice all day in (GK),  Shell & Nadia working excellent in goals together down the other end of the court. Everyone gave 110%. Many thanks to Amy Watkins for filling in for Maddy, who will be back this week we hope & Thanks Meags for sitting on the bench for us .

A-Grade:

Our last game at home was a great game ! We really showed how much we have grown as a team and we definitely played our game ! It was a great game to watch with everyone on the court putting in a 110%. We started out a little slow and by the end of the first quarter we had a slight lead, but over the next 3 quarters we took a good lead and improved on it every quarter. Defence was moving well and working hard on making the Yarram goalies work even harder. The pressure put on the ball throughout the centre was fantastic, we caused lots of turn overs and it was great to watch ! The goalies were moving and working hard on positioning and it definitely showed. Keep up the good work girls, get to training and get ready to take on IK !
