• Starting Times

Starting times of games shall be as follows: (unless otherwise stated) We ask that all players report to their coach approx. 30min before their match starting.

Under 10	11am
Under 11	8.45am
Under 12	12.05pm
Under 13	9.45am
Under 14	1.15pm
Under 15	9.30am
Under 16	2.40pm

Length of Quarters

Length of quarters shall be as follows:

Under 10	10 minute, intervals of 5, 7 & 5 minutes
Under 11	10 minute, intervals of 5, 7 & 5 minutes
Under 12	12 minute, intervals of 5, 7 & 5 minutes
Under 13	12 minute, intervals of 5, 7 & 5 minutes
Under 14	15minute, intervals of 5, 8 & 7 minutes
Under 15	20 minute, intervals of 5, 8 & 7 minutes
Under 16	20 minute, intervals of 5, 8 & 7 minutes

Age Groups

Players must play in their correct age group (determined by age as of 1st January) unless they gain approval from the Club President. Approval must be requested in writing.

Players Born in the year of:

2000 & 1999	Under10
1998	Under 11
1997	Under 12
1996	Under 13
1995	Under 14
1994	Under 15
1993	Under 16

Team Numbers

The Wesburn JFC has a guideline of 26 players maximum per team. However, it is left to the coach's discretion to sometimes allow extra players in a particular team.

The minimum number of players in all grades shall be 14 to constitute a match. Any numbers less than this shall be declared a "walkover".

Mouthguards

The club recommends that that mouthguards are mandatory both at training and on game days.

Helmets

Helmets are recommended but not compulsory.

Training

Skills are very important in Aussie Rules so all our team members are encouraged to attend regular training during the season and to practice at home.

Parents are welcome to help out with training and to use this time to get to know other parents, players and officials of WJFC. Training times are displayed on the teams page.
