CODE OF CONDUCT

 The Nyora Football/Netball club committee strongly urges you to embrace our CODE OF CONDUCT.

This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to the following:

                                                                Players                                                                  Coaches

                                                                Officials                                                                 Administrators

                                                                Parents                                                                  Spectators

 

Everyone involved in sport has a right to participate in a safe and supportive environment. This Code of Conduct has been developed to provide the basis of fair play, encourage good sporting behaviours and assist everyone involved to enjoy their experience whilst associated with the Nyora Football/Netball club affiliated members to the Ellinbank & District Football league & Netball association.   By setting a good example, everyone should be proud to be involved with the Nyora Football/Netball club.    

 THE NYORA FOOTBALL/ NETBALL CLUB COMMITTEE ASK THAT YOU:

1.      Know the rules of the game and the laws & bi-laws of the associations and abide by them at all times.

2.      Accept the decisions of the umpires and officials without argument, abuse or bad temper.

3.      Treat the opposition with respect and be a good sport by acknowledging good play by both teams.

4.      Ensure that both on and off the field/court to be of a high level. Swearing and offensive gestures are not acceptable.

5.      Never ridicule or abuse a player for making an error on or off the field/court. Support your team mates.

6.      Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person regardless of gender, age, ability, cultural background or religion.

7.      Respect all volunteers associated with the club and association.

8.      Offer assistance to your club/ association when practicable. Your involvement will give you and your family satisfaction and a feeling of belonging.
