Joe moved to Poowong back in 1992, just after the club had enjoyed glory years of '89 and '91.

He took on a position as assistant coach to Jock Procter and later as 2nds coach for three years, while playing 135 games in the seniors. 

Joe joined the commitee in 1995 and headed up the commitee that oversaw the construction of the new change rooms that were completed in 2000. Joe took over the role as secretary in 2008, relieving Annie of her busy treasurer-secretary schedule.

He initiated the Auskick clinic in 2000, a predecessor to our now very successful junior grades of U/13 and U/15.5.

Joe is married to Kylie, and has 3 wonderful Children. Hayden Lachie and Grace.
