DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO CONNOR’S FAMILY
We are very saddened to say that U/10 Corio little league player Connor Papazoglou past way on Monday. Conner suddenly fell ill 2 weeks ago and was in the Royal children’s hospital where he underwent a liver transplant unfortunately Conner passed away. Conner had a close friendship with a lot of the U/10 players who are very sad with the loss of their friend and team mate. Conner was a very courageous, determined, skilled, team player. It was his first year of footy and he showed great sportsmanship and was a dominant player for the team. Deepest sympathy to Connors family our hearts are with you at this sad time.
TRACK SUIT PANTS
If you have not paid for your tracksuit pants you need to do this by this Friday 26th June otherwise your pants will be sold. If there is any issue with paying them you need to speak to Corrina as soon as possible.
MEMBERSHIPS OUTSTANDING
There are 4 memberships outstanding that need to be paid by Friday 26th June or your child will not be able to play. Membership is $20 and families have had 13 weeks to pay this! Please pay it ASAP.
CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER
WELL DONE kids all chocolate money has been returned except 1 box this is a great effort from all families and I hope you are all happy with your trackies. Once again a big thank you to all players and families for selling their chocolates and to Pauline for co ordinating the chocolate drive.
MUFFIN BREAK
As you are all aware MUFFIN BREAK is our sponsor for Corio Little League. Fantastic! On Wednesday nights they are donating their left over muffins to the children to have after training which a lot of children enjoyed last week. If you are out the village or in town please have a cuppa and pass on your thanks to muffin break we are very thankful and fortunate to have their support so let’s support them too.
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS There are no games during the school holidays so there will be no training. Training will start again on Wednesday 15th July.
