Mooroopna White Under 14 and Mooroopna Girls Premiers.
The Mooroopna White Under 14 side has won the 2012 Under 14 Premiership in the Shepparton and District Junior Football League. The game was played on Sunday the 2nd of September in beautiful weather at Shepparton's Deakin Reserve.
The young Cats overcame a bit of a slow start to over run their Notre Dame opponents and finish with a comfortable seven goal win. Congratulations to coach Joffa Vandermeer and all of his team on a great result. There is certainly a fair bit of talent coming through the juniors at the moment which will be great for the Mooroopna Football Netball Club over the coming years.
The Mooroopna Youth Girls side has also won its second premiership in a row in the Bendigo Girls Football League. The girls coached by Ivan Lister, were premiers and champions as they went through the season undefeated. Another great effort by the girls!
