The Under 14’s secured their first victory for the season with a 22 point win over Harrow Balmoral. Well done boys. Under 17’s also had their first win for the year and a super win it was by 72 points. Best players and awards were: Vic Hotel - Sam Anders, Laser Electrical - Luke Bolwell, SMS Rural - Jasper Gunn, Horsham Menswear - Nick Jasper, Subway - Karl Schmidt and Sportfirst - Matt McGennisken. Drinks supplied by Andy Brown of Cargill. Both junior football grades would be looking at today for another chance for a win.
The Reserves had their chances to snatch victory in the last quarter but could not quite manage to kick those vital few goals. Best players were Blair Thomas, Matt Hobbs, Tim Pickert, Josh Dodgshun, Riley Cook and Liam Niewand.
The Seniors was a scrappy game and fairly even until the last quarter when the Southern Roos ran over the top of us and beat us by 20 points. Josh Mibus was by far our best taking plenty of strong marks across half back. Shaun Gilbert battled hard in the middle as did Josh Beddison at full back. Also in the best were Tim Wade, Paul Christian and Adam Carter.
Another successful day on the netball court for round three, starting off with the little mods playing a fantastic game, lots of talk and working well together. Best players - Alexander Salter, Sophie Pietsch.
The 13 & Under had a great win, 24-5, with 11 girls rotating positions, the girls were quick to settle and played a top game, especially in defence! Bests - Lolita Brain.
It was an awesome team effort by the 15 & Unders with 10 very versatile players to work with, practice sessions are really paying off, 42-6 being the end result. Bests - Lucy Hobbs and Macy Purdue.
The 17 & Unders had a great win 27-18 with Stevie and Makayla featuring in the bests.
The C Grade girls had a thriller, trailing all game to come back in the last quarter and snatch the win by 1 goal, 29-28, Shana Miatke and Penni Abbott featuring in the bests playing beautiful games!
The A Grade girls fought hard but unfortunately the Harrow girls were just too strong on the day and went down 30-48. Bests - Stevie Bibby & Mikayla McAuliffe.
Tight defence in the B Grade by Claire & Mel and great driving through the mid court by Millie allowed the goalies to score continuously throughout the game and come away with a 1 goal win, bests - Claire Hewson, Millie McRae.
The C Reserve girls all played a fantastic game with strong leads and great talking, bests - Emma Bigham, Jessie Hutchinson.

A reminder to make sure that your memberships and player levies are paid up. This can be done at the gate today or by seeing Heath Martin or Grant Kuchel. The Laser Electrical Members draw jackpotted from last week so it is now up to $100 and you must be a paid up member to be in the draw and must be present to win otherwise it jackpots to the next home game.
