Committee Members

Daniel has been involved with YCW since 1987 when he was in charge of the scoreboard. Daniel has played both at Under 17's and Reserves level. In 1991 Daniel captained the Under 17's side. Daniel finished playing in 2000 and from 2001 to 2006 he was the club trainer. He has been involved in 2 Senior, 2 Reserves and 1 Under 17's Premierships as a trainer. Daniel stepped onto the Committee in 2008 and has been elected President for the second season this year. Daniel follows his father Brian (who is a Life Member of YCW and was President of the club in 2002 when our Seniors won the Premiership). The family links continues in 2010 as his brother Ben Murphy is coaching the Reserves side. Daniel is an avid Carlton supporter. more -->

Snr Vice President - Danny Clarke

Danny has been around the club for many many years and has also held many roles around the club. Danny is a past Reserves Best & Fairest and has also coached the club's reserves to a Grand Final win in 2002. Danny is a very succesful real estate agent and brings to the Committee dedication and an astute business acumin. Danny became a Committee member in 2008 and has been elected as Vice President for a second year. Danny's AFL team is Carlton. more -->

Jnr Vice President - Brendon Breewel

Brendon (aka Breeza) is an excellent clubman. He started at the club in 1996 in the Under 17's side and has progressed to play over 175 games with the club at Junior and Reserve levels. Brendon joined the committee in 2009 and was the club's ground manager. He has taken on that role again for the upcoming season. This year he steps onto the executive where his passion will ensure that the committee are kept on their toes. His only downside is that he follows Collingwood in the AFL.

Treasurer - Peter Power Peter has been around the club for a very long time in one capacity or another. Peter has held the positions of President, Thirds Coach and for the past 2 years he has been the Treasurer of the club. Peter has become accustomed to the club having success and is always willing to put his hand up and assist wherever it is needed. Just the same as Breeza, Pete's only downside is that he follows Collingwood. Other than that Peter is a quality person and an absolute asset to the club. more -->

Secretary - Lisa Roberts

Lisa has been an avid supporter of YCW since 2000. She joins the committee for the first time in the role of Secretary. In 2009, Lisa was part of a very successful social committee and has fantastic organisation skills. Lisa is married to Kevin and they have two children. Lisa is very pro-active around the club and she loves to get in and get things done! Lisa follows her beloved North Melbourne in the AFL.
