Yarragon vs Hill End
Hill End Happenings!
It was an exciting week for the club last week with noticeable improvements across all divisions. Yallourn/Yallourn North was excellent opposition and our players were encouraged to push harder and fight to become more competitive sides.
We travel to Yarragon today and despite encouraging results last week we will need to focus hard to meet the new challenges the Yarragon side will deliver.
Remember to purchase those tickets for hypnotist Steven Spellmaster. He will be at the club on May 19 (after our home game against Traf). Tickets cost $45 per person and there will be a bus to and from the club. Don’t miss out!
Had a solid win against Yallourn/Yallourn North15.10 100- 9.8 62. The boys are continuing to play well this season. Improvements were evident within the side during the third quarter, with the boys attacking the game hard and it paying off with many scoring opportunities. With the side showing positive signs senior coach Josh Tymensen encouraged his boys to keep working hard and coming to training. The seniors are beginning to “tick the right boxes” and develop into a desired team.

A fantastic and exciting first win for the season for our thirds 10.14 74- 5.4 34. Good passages of play were shown and this resulted in scoring opportunities. This game has showed the boys that with a bit more hard work, they will be a very competitive side for the rest of the year. Well Done!

Despite improvements the boys went down2.5 17- 14.17 101.There were lots of new players this week, so the boys will work to gel their side together. With greater aggression and hard tackling, opposition sides will expect to be under a lot more pressure in upcoming weeks.
