Welcome back everybody for season 2009, today we welcome Yallourn North to the Hawks nest in what should be a great day of footy and netball.

Our executive committee has remained the same but we welcome some new faces to our general committee. The club would like to thank and welcome all existing and new sponsors, players, supporters and members for season 2009, in what shapes as an exciting year ahead.

2009 Football Coaches:

2009 coaches this season we welcome Nick Lecchino as senior coach, Nick has done a great job during the pre season and has put together an exciting list of players that we hope will be a successful outfit. Premiership coach Craig Giddens returns to look after the reserves and Trev Wilson has the thirds while Gavin Blair again is looking after the fourths.

2009 Netball Coaches:

Jenny Mills is again in charge of netball with help from Nicky Bowe and Nomi Webb. Coming of an incredible 2008 season all the girls will be looking forward to season 2009 with great anticipation to the year ahead. Welcome to all new netballers and good luck to all the juniors that are stepping up into the senior sides this year.

200 Games Milestone:

Today's match is highlighted by the special occasion off David Walkers 200th senior game for the club becoming only the 5th player to do so. Walks has been a tremendous person around the club for many years highlighted when he captained the 2005 premiership side. Well done Dave hope you have a great day and night.

Club Support:

The club needs match day volunteers any one available to help should see Gavin, Pauline or Brian.

Social:

Nobbys kitchen has new owners Vicki and Michelle will be doing meals this season at home games between 6pm and 7.30pm.
