Today we have travelled out to the home of the Boolarra Demons, We look forward to their hospitality and some hard fought contests in all games played, good luck to everyone involved.

Last week we at home against Yinnar our Reserves and Thirds recorded solid wins in the football and our Netball sides once again recorded wins in all grades. Great effort East!

Congratulations to our new club games record holder in Darren “ Tatto” Tatterson. Tatto is a champion bloke on and off the field and a well respected member of our club. Well done Tatto from all your team mates, committee, members and Morwell East supporters.

Box’s Seniors:   Disappointing loss last week against Yinnar. We need to bounce back and learn from it. Better players were Harleigh Aarons, Aaron Makepeace, Mark Van Dyke, Bruce Siddle, Richey Te Paa and Phil Pavey.

Giddo’s Reserves:   Terrific game last week against Yinnar from our reserves. Better players were Arthur Harrison, Robbie Hobbin, John Pollutro, Nick Talerico and Tim Holland.

Trev’s Thirds:   Great team effort from the boys in last week’s victory over Yinnar. We needed the win to cement our spot, well done fella’s. Better players were Danny Matheson, Ashley Hooten, Jacob Blair, Brad Clark, Rhys Gatt and Jesse Bowe.

Gavin’s Fourths:   2 good quarters against top sides just isn’t enough, we need to play 4 if we want to be competitive with the likes of Yinnar. A couple of great individual performances from Brandon Francis and Dylan Van Den Brand with Joel Sutton and Dylan Roulston trying hard all game.

D grade: Morwell East 57 Defeated Yinnar 47   B.O.C. Alice Hughes.

Under 17's: Morwell East 25 Defeated Yinnar 18   B.O.C. Teagan Watson.

Under 15's: Morwell East 31 Defeated Yinnar 15   B.O.C. Stephanie Campbell.
