Tomorrow at Morwell Football Ground Morwell Youth Club U/14’s play Leongatha in the C G J F L Grand Final .Good luck guys from all at the East, go get' em Giggles and Brayden.

In the League junior vote count Danny Matheson came r/u in the Thirds and Brandon Francis came 4th in the Fourths and in the Netball Tanarli Hood came r/u in the U17’s and Ellen Mills won the U15’s in a thriller, Congratulations on your seasons, well done.

Box’s Seniors:   After a well deserved rest in the first week of the finals, we take on Traf in what shapes as being a great game. The dictionary is the only place that success comes before work. Hard work is the price we must pay for success. We can accomplish anything if we’re willing to pay the price.  

Giddo’s Reserves:   We turned it around last Saturday to defeat Traf in a well balanced display of great team football. Our third term was probably the best Football we’ve played all year and is terrific form to take into today’s clash with the Tigers.

Trev’s Thirds:   Firstly congratulations to Danny Matheson on league B&F runners up this year.

The boys took on Trafalgar last week in slippery conditions coming away with a tremendous win. Knowing what Traf is capable of the boys could not afford to let them get running. On ballers and rucks were solid all game. Credit to our boys for being first in at contests, and disciplined footy as we pride ourselves on. Defensive pressure great, forward line keeping the pressure on Traf when trying the counter attack .We now move on to our next clash against Thorpdale, on a good surface this week with great preparation and recent form. So no excuses!!  Only you’s can choose your path...

We should be in for a ripper of a day from the girls in this weekends 2^nd Semi final clashes. All teams finished the home and away season strongly, with A, B, C & D grades all earning a deserving week of in the first week of the finals. The players along with Jenny and all the coaching staff have done a fantastic job so far this season and we wish them all the best. Carn The East!!!
