Barry Plant Real Estate was established in 1979 when Barry Plant
who is a director of the company today  opened an office
in Templestowe in Melbourne's east. In the following years Barry
Plant Real Estate flourished in the eastern and south eastern suburbs
of Melbourne. In July 1999, the 15 Barry Plant offices merged with EJ
Doherty Real Estate to form Barry Plant Doherty.

EJ Doherty opened its doors in a small office in Coburg on 1st July
1958 and at the time of the merger with Barry Plant it had 16 offices
located throughout the north and north-western suburbs. The
merging of the two companies, both of whom had earned enviable
reputations for consistently obtaining excellent results for their
clients, meant that the new real estate group Barry Plant
Doherty covered a great deal of metropolitan Melbourne.

Between July 1999 and December 2005, the group grew to 60 offices

(including a specialised Commercial and Industrial office) and in early
2006 dropped "Doherty" from its name to once again become
Barry Plant Real Estate.  Early 2006 also saw the beginning of the
group's expansion into the regional areas of Victoria and 2008
saw the first office established outside Victoria on the Gold
Coast.  As of January 2009, the group has 76 offices operating
under the Barry Plant brand.

Cribpoint Bar & Bistro

206 Stony Point Rd Crib Point

 PH  59836382

New owners, Matt & Nicole, bring a fresh approach and enthusiasm to
the B & B. The venue is now open during daytime hours as a café and
meeting place for the locals, serving great coffee, cakes and even an
all-day breakfast on the weekends.

"We have noticed that there is nowhere in the area for locals to eat or even
get a decent cup of coffee, so we are doing our best to welcome everyone
in and give them an enjoyable experience. We offer a variety of wholesome
large meals that are affordably priced, and a friendly inviting atmosphere. We
also offer our whole menu to Take-away and will be starting a delivery service
to the local area soon if there is a demand. The meals we will offer will be a
great alternative to regular take-away options".

The venue also has a pool table, juke box, amusement games, large screen
tv's and a great beer garden, so a fun night out is assured.
