Summary of the last round of home and away matches for the 2011 Premiership season. With this being the case, the Hawks have two sides contesting finals' action, being the U17 footballers and the U13 netballers. Both sides will be in action this Saturday in the First Elimination final, the U17s playing at 10:30am and the U13s at 10:00am, at Rumbalara.

On the weekend of the 29th - 31st of July, Rd. 17 vs Cobram, the BFNC is holding its inaugural Premiership Reunion Weekend. Ten Premiership teams' players, football and netball have been invited so we are hoping for this to be a success to set up future events.

Barooga young gun, Cal Leighton-Daly, sustained a serious leg injury in the Goulburn Valley Schoolboys Division 1 side's first game in the V Line State championships.
This weekend, when the Hawks take on Tongala at home, will see Zane "Bomber" Goodwin bring up a milestone by reaching the 200 Senior game mark. This is a great achievement for a bloke who is respected and admired around the BFNC because you know he will give 110% and fight tooth and nail to uphold Barooga's name.

After the final couple of pre-season weeks, the 2011 MFL/MNL Premiership season is upon us, with the Hawks facing the Numurkah Blues at home to kick-start proceedings.
In slippery conditions, the Hawks went down to the Tungamah Bears by a solitary point. A solid first hit out with plenty of area for improvement.
Three of Barooga's young guns, Cal Leighton-Daly, Hary Foster and new recruit, Callum Eddy, have all managed to get selected in the U15 Goulburn-Murray/ Murray Bushrangers Schoolboy sides.
