Reserves
Nathalia 4.3.27 lost to Tongala 15.12.102.
A brave effort from the reserves against one of the top sides in the competition. We hung in there for nearly 75% of most quarters but let it slip towards the end. Fitness might be a key, certainly not endeavour. Ash Dohnt crashed packs all day; Jonno Tamburro was very creative when he had the ball. Stu Bell was lively with a couple of goals, Balls Liddell was super on long fast leads, and James Smith battled hard against the odds at CHF and in the ruck.
Goals: S Bell 2, A Liddell 2.

Nathalia 0.2.2 lost to Tongala 13.8.86.
A damp morning was presented to the boys at Tongala, and with a few players absent, our younger players put in a gallant effort against a stronger Tongala team. Hayden Tyrrell & Alex Hicks worked tirelessly for the entire match and Bowen Smith ran hard on his wing. Kodi Hicks rucked well along with Thomas Brooks who continued to give great second efforts. Our defenders Matts Ginnivan, Anthony Bourke-Hunt & Brenton Boxall all made solid contributions, as did the smaller players in Conner Nave, Logan Mortimer & Dean Zammit.
