Welcome to the "Silly Season!" Its only December and the 2009 Footy season is well and truely underway. Recruiting has been hectic with the recruiting committee contacting a number of prospective players for the forthcoming season. We have secured a few signings and these players will add experience and depth to the Hawks team but to continue our development and build on last years improvement we must further add to our list. Training has commenced and it was great to see good numbers having a run last week. We will be having a light run each Wednesday at 6pm at North Wang until December 10. Preseason will start up on Wednesday 21st January, 6pm at North Wang.

Some new faces are to be seen for 2009. The club welcomes new coaches Phil Christie who has taken over the Reserves and Ian Ladgrove the new leader of our Thirds. Both of these guys are experienced coaches so lets get behind them and have "real crack" in '09. Welcome also to new Pres. Mark Sayers. Good luck to "Jacko" and to the new committee.
