UNDER 14'S GO ON HOLIDAY EARLY

The Millicent under 14 started their holidays one day early with a below average performance against North Gambier. Needing a good win to go into the last round with a secure third spot on the ladder the saints were disappointing. We started the game second to the footy and finished it that way. North were strong overhead and at ground level as we chased their jumpers for the entire four quarters in a low scoring game. Aiden Shultz was strong in defence and Mitch Gordon battled hard and tackled well. Tanner Hutchesson put in his best effort for the season rucking the first half and playing in defence. Angus Watts had a good game across half forward and Max Bowering tried hard all game. North winning the game 3-3 to our 2-1. Jonah Grimes kicked our 2 goals.
