Is it the end of season or the start of another?

Maybe both, but what a big season its been and very exciting in the process.Eight out of ten sides playing in the finals must nearly be a record within the club. One side only came to prevail at the end of the finals and that being the masterfully coached under 15b netball. Rae Bound was the coach of this team and has really shown why she rates as one of the very top coaches in the Wimmera League in any division. Rae has left no stone unturned in her pursuit of training and coaching knowledge to be the best she can possibly be for this club. A great job done Rae with a great result. Also on netball it was great to see our senior netballers competing in the finals for the first time in fourty years. I beleive this is only the beginning of what maybe to come over the next few years.

Applications are now open for Coaching positions in the Reserve grade football and under 14 football at the Tigers for 2010. Please apply in writing to the secretary stating previous experience (if any) and additional information attaining to the position. On the subject of football it was good to see the senior team in the finals after a long spell on the sidelines, which will give great beleif for this next upcoming season. Recruiting is well under way and many exciting moves are well being spoken about. Junior development is well showing rewards for the work put in by many over the last five years of major planning development. From the under 11s to under 14s to under 17s the signs are showing strongly now into the strength of the senior two grades.

2010 is the season for all to make their mark in the Wimmera league as I feel the competition might be starting to break to a fair bit of eveness across the board. These are exciting times and the club more than ever needs you to come on board as a helper in any way possible. While the Winter season is on a break have a think of how you can have an impact in the club in whatever way possible. Contact any Committee person to see how you can help.
