Started his playing career with the Gembrook Football Club in 1956 in the unders.

1966 - played his 100th game.

1970 - Best & Fairest (reserves)

1972 - played 192 games

1965 - 1973 - Club Treasurer

1974 - Awarded Life Membership

1974 - 1985 - President of the League

1985 - Awarded Life membership of the YVMDFL

Was a member of the YVMDFL board for 11 years.
