After the AGM and the new constitution being accepted we have our first chairperson for the Upper Gully Footy Club. Heather Callahan has accepted the nomination and the Executive Committee have appointed her from 7th December 2012 for the 2013 Season. Also good to see Kelly Lane jump on the Senior committee for 2013. Some good training sessions were held leading up to the xmas break with thanks to Al Calder; training will resume in mid January so keep an eye on the website for further details. If anyone is interested in getting some fitness work in before Christmas Greg is more than happy to help out by holding training sessions at his place on Monday and Wednesday at 7pm, give Greg a ring if interested. Also Greg requires more helpers for next season; let him know if interested.
Next year we look forward to the 1963 Senior Flag 50th Anniversary, Frank “Bags” Lowrie’s last game for the club. Also the Reserves Back to Back Flag of 2003 will be celebrated. Anyone wanting to help in organizing these days please contact Andy Lee.

King Club 2013
Thanks to all the members of the King Club for their support this season. The King Club is a support group for the Upper Ferntree Gully Football Club. For 2013 members of the King Club have access to the rooms during the senior game half time were they receive food and drinks complimentary during the break; There are raffles to raise further money with joker poker. You become a club member and have free entry into home games andd also recieve a king club polo. There is also a King Club social event during the year, which includes food and drink . The VIP area is available again in 2013. A great idea for businesses and individuals to entertain your guests with drinks and finger food to watch the game in the prime viewing area until the final Siren and Drinks Stop.
