All registered, paid-up members who play will be covered by insurance while training and playing. The insurance includes hospital, ambulance, and ancillary medical cover, and other non-Medicare costs that are often incurred. For further information see your Team Manager.
Please note: The insurance does not cover the Medicare gap and amounts of claims may be limited.
Any injury during training or on Match day should be reported immediately to the TEAM MANAGER, before the player leaves the ground. Insurance claims must be sent to insurance company via Club Secretary within 30 days of injury.
As football is a contact sport
- U9-U16 wearing of a mouthguard is compulsory.
- U9 & U10 wearing of helmet is also compulsory.
Each player should make sure that fingernails are trimmed, jewellery, including rings, chains, earring, etc are removed and that they are ready to play at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time of the match. This will enable them to warm up and prepare, thus reducing the chance of injury to themselves and others. Coaches require players to be at the ground at least 45 minutes before the start of the game.
