Qualifying Final vs Scoresby
Without Ryan Mullett and Heath Black the seniors produced a massive team effort to overcome the favourites Scoresby by 40pts. The late withdrawal of Mulls & Blacky saw David Edgcumbe and Kyle Emley come into the side on Saturday morning and what a fantastic job these two boys did. But that was typical of the effort every player in the side who lifted to make up for the players missing. It was also a credit to Coach Kris Barlow for his preparation and direction, which was outstanding. The two highlights were Grant McCarthy’s 200th Club game and the “ mark of the century” by full forward Jarrod Dalton along with his 5 valuable goals. But that all means nothing now as we set our sights on Norwood in the Second Semi. The Reserves, after a week off will be taking on Noble Park. Jarrod Dalton is pictured left ( no, this is not the big mark)
