Player profile: SWAN HILL'S DYNAMIC DUO
Annie Bissinella and Megan Williamson are no strangers to hard work and commitment. The Swan Hill pair travel twice a week to Epsom to train with their Lightning U13 team mates and then travel again for match day come the weekends. Annie admits to a pre game ritual of tying her boots up with triple knots before kick off and Megan looks for that last wave from her dad before the first whistle blows. What are their secrets to keeping fit when not training, travelling or playing football ( LML in the summer and Swan Hill in the winter )? Annie is known to enjoy playing Basketball and netball and Megan enjoys Swimming. The girls also enjoy good food... Japanese is Megan's favourite and Annie likes tucking into a bowl of pasta. Who are their Football heros? Megan is a fan of Christiano Ronaldo and Annie's favourite is Lionel Messi. With many kilometers and hours of play now under their belts we wish Annie and Megan and the rest of the U13 girls good luck for the rest of the season!
