Albion Cup day for Bravehearts
The annual Albion Cup Day event on Sunday the 25th of November raised $925 for Bravehearts (Australia's leading child protection advocate http://www.bravehearts.org.au/). This year the event was coordinated by Springdale FC, but held at Breakwater SC's White Eagle House ground. In the first game, Ireland overcame Australia 3-2, and England then defeated Scotland 4-3 to retain the Albion Cup. Our sincerest thanks go to Stan Nangle (Surfside Waves), Tam McCulloch, Chris McMahon, Kieron Moore (Lara SC), Jarrod Gladman & Paul Hughes (Springdale FC), Joe Jakubowski (Breakwater SC) and Bryan Smith (Barwon SC & Alba Scaffolding for their assistance and support in making this event happen.
