The Waralily Cup kicked off Monday night for the Men's Competition where the teams enjoyed the first night with a mixture of current and hopefully future Surf Coast players having a great time.
The first game kicked off with a mixture of Saturday and Sunday players from the 2012 Surf Coast Men's teams where both sets of players enjoyed the night with a high scoring game where the Saturday Boys (Plus Micka!) just edged out the win 7-6.
Whilst it is a social game, David De Celis (Chicha) was showing early promise for the 2013 season with unstoppable rampaging runs and tackles!
A well organised first night and no doubt as the word spreads about the relaxed and enjoyable time had by all that the numbers will grow.
Wednesday the 17th of October sees the start of the Junior and Senior Womens Competition so be sure to turn up for a 5.30pm start!
