Training:  TBC

Venue: TBC      Time: TBC

What parents need to know:

All players must wear shin pads and soccer boots to all training sessions and games without exception. On training nights any comfortable T Shirt/Soccer Jersey, shorts and long socks are acceptable,  Water bottles are a must when training or playing.

Children need to arrive 15 minutes prior to the session starting, It is advised that you stay at training and matches with your child or organise for another parent to be there, should your child require any assistance. Parents are encouraged to get involved with the team and the sessions, just have a chat to your Coach or Team Manager on how you can help.

It is asked that parents let the Coach or Team Manager know in advance, if possible, if a player cannot make training or the game, and please always let some one know when you have collected your child and left the premises.

The soccer season officially starts on Saturday 14th of April, and the children will be issued with their uniform 7-10 days before the start of the season.  Games are played every Saturday  Training and games are played in all weather conditions,(Thunderstorms with lightning are the only exception) so unless you have been contacted by your Team Manager, players are expected to attend all their normal sessions irrespective of the weather.

This age group does follow a competition fixture, which means that your childs team will be competing against other clubs. The normal format is that the team will play at home one week ( Anderson Park (Anderson Creek Road, Doncaster East Melway ref. 34 D7) and away visiting another club the next.  The fixtures will supply you with times and venues and Map References.

The fixtures will be published by the FFV on or about the 5th April 2012. Once the fixtures are released there will be link to them on this website that you can use to print off a copy for the whole season.  However sometimes due to unforseen circumstances there are late changes made, your team manager will normally let you know if this occurs but it is advised that you log onto the fixtures on a Friday night to confirm that the information you have down loaded is still accurate and current.

Towards the end of the season a photgrapher will be coming to take team photos, and at the end of the season which is due to conclude at the end of August - there will be a trophy presentation day. Of course all families are invited to participate in any events that are taking place at the club, and we encourage all parents to get involved with these activities and the various comittees.

From time to time, leading up to the start of the season you will receive the DRSC Club Newsletter, once the season starts this will come weekly, via email and will keep you up to date on whats happening at our clubrooms at Anderson Park and with the club and teams. If you are not receivng this regularly please see your co-ordinator and make sure we have your email address on file at the club. The website will be updated regularly with any last minute notices on the home page, and general matters relating to your childs team will appear on this dedicated team page.

For further information please contact your co-ordinator, he is there to assist in any way he can.
