Junior Development Strategy
Taringa Rovers Junior Player Development Strategy:
The focus of Taringa Rovers Soccer Football Club at a junior level is to provide opportunities to local children to enjoy football and develop their football skills to the best level they can be both individually and as a team rather than being completely focused elite junior development at the expense of serving the local community.
On this basis Taringa Rovers has established a junior development program which seeks to maximise the opportunities for local children to develop their footballing skills in a controlled and fun environment through the preparatory and small sided phases of football development, which will then lead to the development of both home grown players than can play at elite junior levels available (such as BJL and Division 1), whilst not excluding local social players and on the whole providing children with a love of both football and Taringa Rovers that they will carry with them into adulthood.
