Registration Fee's Payment Plan
In order to provide more options for youn adults and students to play football at Taringa Rovers, we have developed a payment plan option for U17 & U18, Senior Mens and Senior Womens Players.
The payment plan establsihed by Taringa Rovers for those players wishing to pay their fees over a period of time. Key facts about this payment plan are provided below:
Q:Does the payment plan cost more than paying the fees upfront?
A: Yes, there is a cost associated with using the payment plan option.
Q: What is the cost of using the payment plan?
A:Providing all payments are made when due, the additional cost of the payment plan is 5.21% of the registration fees plus $10 set up fee.
Q: Does TRFC get the additional money?
A: Unfortunately not! Taringa Rovers have signed up with a collections company to administer the plan. The 5.21% charge on top of the fee and the $10 set up fee goes directly to this company.
A: Why has TRFC set up this option?
We recognize that paying the full fees upfront can be difficult for some. As a club we want people to play football, and to support this we have developed a payment plan that balances the financial needs of the club i.e. pay our costs with helping players.
Q: Why is a third party company managing the payment plan?
The committee members of the club are volunteers. We do not want to be in a position to chase individuals on payments; there are many other activities that need to be performed by the committee.
The third party company specializes in administering payment plans like this one with a dedicated team providing this service. They have specific processes to gather payments either from your credit card or your bank account, and also follow up on missed payments.
Q: What are the payment plan details?
There is an upfront payment of 30% of your registration fee; followed by 6 fortnightly installments for the remaining amount.
The first payment will be debited on 18/02/2013 and will include the upfront fee (30% of registration), the first installment amount and $10 admin fee. (The amounts are detailed in the sign online sign on screen)
Q: How do I sign up to Taringa Rovers and use the payment plan to pay my fee's?
A: Take the following steps:
1. First you need to register as a Taringa Rovers Player at myfootballclub.com.au and select the pay later option.
2. If you are currently 18 years of age or over you can sign up by going to the link on the TRFC website and filling in the details in the form provided. This is the link:
Please take your time to read the fine print in the form, in particular the additional costs on changing bank details and missed payments.
If you are under 18 years of age you can still sign up but you will need a guarantor. However this option is not available online. Please contact secretary@taringarovers.com.au and the club will provide the relevant forms to you.
3. Once the first installment has been recieved the Taringa Rovers will be notified by the collection agency and you will be made an active player for the 2013 season. All agreed payments will need to be maid and failure to make such payments will result in de-registration.
