On Monday 27th May 2013 the NSW Blues will be having their first training session prior to State of Origin Game 1 at Coogee Oval.

We would like to invite all Junior League Clubs to attend the Training Session as it will be a great opportunity for Junior Rugby League Players, Coaches and Parents to watch and learn from the best players in our game.

Congratulations to Jayden Okunbor on his selection to trial for the NSW Under 16's side in the annual Possibles v Probables match.

For just $350.00, a squad of 20 junior players & 5 adults can attend a State of Origin Match in Sydney. More details and application form attached.

If anyone over the age of 14 is interested in becoming a referee. There will be a course run on the 24th April. More details attached.

The ‘On line’ registration system is now open. All 2012 players who are returning in 2013 should register using the on line system. It’s easy and quicker than reading this message! Hit ‘more’ and read all the instructions before starting.

New Colts Phone Number - We now have a dedicated phone for Colts use, please take this number down 0414 414 106, and please use this number if you want to contact me.

Website - Please keep checking our website for news items as we will be utilizing this form of communication in 2013.

Training - you will be notified by your coach or manager before the 18th February when your childs training will commence.

Coaching Positions - We are still looking for a few more coaches, if you or someone you know is interested please contact The President, Grant on 0419 545 001 to discuss your options.

Players Required - Please get the word around about our club to attract new players to our teams, as teams go up an age they require more players, so if you are happy with the way we run the club, tell your friends, you, our club members are our best advertisment to strenghtening our player numbers.

Sponsporship of Electronic Scoreboard - we are looking for a sponspor or two who would be interested in having their name on our new electronic scoreboard. If you are interested or want to know more details please call either Grant or Donna to discuss.

Please keep the 2nd & 3rd of March free to attend a 2 day first aid course. Colts were successfull in gaining a grant to be used on training of our volunteers. The committee has decided that to benefit all our players we should have a qualified First Aider for every team, the more people trained in First Aid the better for our Club and the general community.

Sign on Days - Wednesday 6th and 13th February 2013, 6.00 to 7.30pm @The Fred Hagan Pavilion, Killara Reserve, Lawson St, Panania.

Sunday Trial Matches - We will be having 2 trials outside of the Canterbury District. 1st trial is 17th March and the 2nd one is on 24th March, 2013, more details will follow closer to the date but put these dates into your diary.

Our Online Registrations are now available.

To access the click on the online registrations link on the right of the screen and follow the prompts. There are instructions for people who have not yet paid for anything online with Leaguenet such and clinics etc. you will need to fill out the questions and submit them to receive your password to your email address.

The process does not take long and is super convenient.

New On Line Registration are available, all returning players from 2012 will be able to register on line and pay by credit card to save time, details on this website next week, so keep posted. New players to Colts will not to be able to use this facility.. NOTE: only returning 2012 players who have an email set up in the Colts database.

On Sunday 14th October 2012 Milperra Colts held their annual Presentation Day which started with the re naming of the clubhouse to honour our long servicing ex President, Colts Life Member, Canterbury Life Member, Coach, Mentor, Advisor and all round great bloke - Fred Hagan.

The Milperra Colts Junior Rugby League Club Committee, with the support of staff from the NSWRL Origin Community and Game Development Unit, have worked throughout the 2012 season to identify and prioritise clear goals that will assist in achieving continued growth and improvement within their club.

We had 3 players from the Under 17's play in the Redfern Harmony Nines last weekend. The United Africa had 2 players (sure you can pick them out in the photo) and Tamati played in the Maori team. The Maori team made the semis and the United Africa team won one game - need a bit more work in the off season.
