ROUND 15
Players
*
Congratulations to Lachlan Smith (debut 1999) on playing his 100th Senior Grade game for the club, the 14th player to achieve the feat.
* Congratulations to Brent Venables (debut 2007) on playing his 50th game for the club, the 114th player to achieve the feat.
Teams
*
Both Senior
Grade and Reserve Grade managed their fourth consecutive loss against Moorebank Sports, the last win for both grades against Moorebank (then S-W Sydney) being on 12th August, 2006.
* Senior Grade's record losing sequence against Moorebank Sports is 8 games (08/07/00 - 17/07/04), whilst Reserve Grade's record losing sequence against the Magpies is 10 games (15/06/96 - 08/07/00).
* Under 18s 139 point win was the first win by that margin by a Penrith side.
* Moorebank Sports' score of 0.1 (1) was only the second time that a Penrith side had kept an opposition side to that score. The other occasion was on 8th August, 1987 when the Rams' Senior Grade side walloped Blacktown 44.23 (287) to 0.1 (1).
* The Under 18s managed nine behinds in the second term. Since quarter by quarter records have been available (1990), this is the second best effort by an Under 18s/20s side. The record goes to the 2001 Under 18s:
3.10 (28) - 1st quarter, 21st July, 2001 vs Nor-West Jets at Greygums Oval
Two other instances of nine behinds in a quarter have occurred:
2.9 (21) - 4th quarter, 6th May, 2000 vs Balmain at Drummoyne Oval
5.9 (39) - 3rd quarter, 6th August, 2005 vs Holroyd-Parramatta at Bensons Lane
* The Under 18s recorded their highest score and winning margin vs Moorebank Sports, who in turn recorded their lowest score against the Rams.
* The Under 18s longest winning sequence against Moorebank Sports is now 5 games (30/05/09 - 31/07/10).
* The Under 18s recorded their seventh consecutive 100+ score, two short of the club record of nine (held by Senior Grade over the 1991/92 seasons).
