Week 11 Results For Uni Rebels League Teams
The Rebels Women's got back on the winning track last Thursday night after defeating Razzle 70 to 55. It was a close game at the start, both teams going point for point ending the first quarter 16 to 17. Uni Rebels brought out the full court press in the second quarter outscoring Razzle 20 to 10, ending the half 36 to 27. The Lady Rebels kept applying the defensive pressure for the rest of the game which stifilled the Razzle players, Rebels leading scorer Ambah Kowcun(27) led the attack supported by Jaylene Boundry(16) and Edith Boundry(11). Rebels cruised to victory defeating Razzle 70 to 55.
Rebels Men's side notched up their 10th straight win for the season after downing a full strength Lightning side with just 6 players. Uni Rebels came out stong in the first half going on a 36 to 25 advantage despite of some intersting officiating. Spearheaded by the scoring of Tyler Jefferson(38) and Marcus Ch'ng(19) supported by the great offensive rebounding of Lionel Oger and great team defense, Rebels managed to hold off a determined Lightning squad with a six point win 72 to 66.
