Round 12 Results for Uni Rebels League Men
Uni Rebels Men's Team lost for the first time this Championship season after going down to Ansett last Saturday night. Uni Rebels came out great with a 3 point advantage to end the first quarter 20 to 17. Rebels Men continued to outscore Ansett 28 to 17 to end the first half 48 to 34. But having just fielded 7 players Uni Rebels ran out of steam in the second half with Ansett out scoring them 42 to 21 and ending the game 69 to 76. Rebels captain Marcus Ch'ng(26) and Tyler Jefferson(25) spearheaded the scoring with support from Lionel Oger(10). But having to play 40 minutes took it's toll to the Rebels side and could not match the scoring output from Ansett's John King(28) and Mateo Rowse(22).
