It was a nail biter of a game between Uni Rebels Women and Eagles who went to extra time to decide the contest. It was a close first quarter where the Rebels side tied the score at 10 to 10 to go in to the first break. Both sides still could not be separated in the seacond quarter both teams scored 11 point a piece to end the first half 21 to 21. The younger but undersized Lady Rebels kept battling to stay in the game ending the third quarter 37 to 37. But in the fourth quarter Eagles was up by 3 points with 15 second left in the game, Rebels called time out to advance the ball to front court to try and tie the game again. Edith Boundry(12) inbounds the ball to Ambah Kowcun(34) at the top of the three point line and attracted defenders, Ambah then passes the ball back to Edith who was left open on the wing and sinks a three ball to send the game in to overtime 52 to 52. Uni Rebels took control of the game in extra time to outscore Eagles 11 to 6 and to win the game 63 to 58. Ambah and Edith was also supported by Tulaha Jeffery(12) and the clutch rebounding of Chantelle Lee(3) to secure the win. This win gives Uni Rebels a bit of a breathing room in 4th place on the ladder.
