Uni Rebels Falls Short In The Grand Final
Uni Rebels Men's started out strong jumping to a 27 to 12 first quarter lead. But Palmerston fought back and outscored Uni Rebels 28 to 18 and ended the half 45 to 40 with Rebels still with a 5 point advantage. In the third quarter Uni Rebels was again out played by Palmerston and went in to the last break with just a 1 point lead 62 to 61. Uni Rebels started to tire and run out of legs in the last quarter and was unable contain the 3 point shooting of Palmerston and went down 76 to 83. Tyler Jefferson(25) top scored for Uni Rebels supportedd by Tom Uppena(17), Jake Kirby(14) and David Ronchi(10). Jessie Bell was leading scorer for the game with 30pts. Uni Rebels would like to thank all the supporters who came out cheered the boys last night. We will come back bigger and better next year. Have a good holiday break and see you all in 2016!
