Uni Rebels Men's suffered another loss against Palmerston last Friday night. Rebels started slow to a 13 to 20 deficit to end the first quarter. Rebels stepped up their game in the second quarter that went on a 19 to 14 run and ended the half with a 32 to 34. Uni Rebels lost the momentum in the third quarter and was out scored by Palmerston 17 to 24 and ended the third quarter 49 to 58. Rebels Men battled back in the fourth and out scored Palmersron 25 to 20 in the fourth quarter but was unable to execute in the last minutes of the game and went down 74 to 78. Rebels scoring was led by JB Pillard(35) supported by Larry Hamill(17) and Dvid Ronchi(8).

The Women's Team could not backup their win over Ansett two weeks ago and went down to Palmerston last night. Plamerston came out to a 7 to 11 advantage in the first quarter. The Lady Rebels tried to keep it close in the second quarter but was still out scored 19 to 22 and ended the half 26 to 33. Rebels was able to match Palmerston in the third quarter and scored 20 points a piece and ended the third 46 to 53. In the fourth quarter Rebels fought back and out scored Palmerston 7 to 6 but was not enough to take the game back from Palmerston and ended the game 53 to 59. The Rebels attack was led by Edith Boundry(13) and supported by Jaylene Boundry(8), Jaylene Bonson(8) and Chantelle Lee(8).
