Another sluggish start and poor defense was the factors for Uni Rebels 106-86 loss to Eagles. Alex Fertig and Joseph Johnson combined for 57 points as the Eagles edged out Rebels last Thursday night. Eagles jumped out to a 29-17 first quarter lead, and extended the lead to 51-38 at the end of the half. Uni Rebels tried to fight back in the third quarter behind the efforts of Chad Bewley(30), new American import Jerrell Sanders(27) and Jake Kirby(14) but was still trailling 78-61 going in to the last quarter. And with Chad Bewley fouling out early in the fourth just made things harder for Uni Rebels to get back in the game and eventualy going down to Eagles 106-86.
