Uni Rebels v Tracy Village Jets
The Uni Rebels won their fifth game in a row by toppling the Tracy Village Jets 90-66. New Rebel import Jerrell Sanders led the Rebels to the win with 20 points, but it wasn’t all easy going for the Rebels despite the final score-line. The young Jets played tough in the first quarter to only trail by 3 at 23-20, but the cracks began to show half way through the second quarter as the Rebels found the range and accuracy through Sanders, Chad Bewley and Jake Kirby. By half time the score was 49-31 for the Rebels and after a fairly subdued third quarter the Rebels went on a 27-18 last quarter run to seal the win. Bewley lent support to Sanders with 15, Jamie Hamill 12 (all treys) and Kirby10. Liam MacLachlan hit 16 for the Jets with Jackson Tremlett & Jett Sukcharoen adding 11 each
