Brittany Ward (24.5ppg) put up a game and season high 29 points to lead the Palmerston Power over the undermanned Uni Rebels 108-21. The crushing win by the Power gave them a share of third place on the ladder. Ward had support from Chiara Jones (21), Louise Turner (20 @ 15.5ppg), Brielle Felton (17) and Mikaella Desamito (14). Best for the Rebels was Toya Norris with 8.
League Men - Palmerston Power v Uni Rebels
The Uni Rebels led from start to finish in their 78-63 win against the Palmerston Power. Spencer Coleman and Tim Morris (28.7ppg) racked up 48 points between them to lead the charge with Glenn Scott chipping in with 11. The 17-14 first quarter lead blew out to 43-29 after a 26-15 second quarter run and the Rebels held on to that advantage for the rest of the game. Coleman (23.5ppg) finished up with 26 and Morris 22. Willie Shackleford (18.6ppg) netted 22 for the losers with Tom Godwin adding 11.
