League Women - Razzle Storm v Uni Rebels
The Uni Rebels finished off the season with a rare win by beating the Razzle Storm 63-61 in a real nail-biter. The Rebels had built up a seemingly winning 41-32 margin at the end of three quarters, but the Storm blew back into the game with a 29-22 fourth quarter run that almost won the day. The Rebels however, held back the Storm by getting to the charity stripe enough to offset the scoring by the Storm as time wound down. Shavayah Lee (10.9ppg) hit a team high 17 for the Rebels with Toya Norris on 13 and Chantelle Lee & Danielle Ponter on 10 apiece. Erin Boyd (17ppg) from the Razzle Storm led all scorers with 18 while Lailani Triffit & Mali Gordon had 10 each.
League Men - Razzle Storm v Uni Rebels (Friday)
The minor premier Uni Rebels wrapped up their regulation season with an easy 113-94 win over the Razzle Storm who must rank as one of the highest scoring losing teams in DBA history. The Storm can score, but just not enough to put the ‘w’ in the column. The Rebels wasted no time taking charge in this one, leading 30-11 after a quarter and up by 25 at half time 58-33. Spencer Coleman hit a season and game high 41 for the Rebels with Tim Morris on 33, Jake Kirby 19 and Jamie Hamill 12. Fred Williams led the Storm with 37, Nathan Radonich 19, Connor Mccabe 15 and Nick Routledge 12.
