League Women - Razzle Vs Uni Rebels

Rebels Women notched up another win after defeating Razzle 60 to 36 last Saturday night. Uni Rebels was inspired by young gun Toya Norris (9pts) and came out to a 16 to 8 first quarter lead. The Lady Rebels maintained their advantage in the second quarter led by Ieasha Friel (29pts) finishing the half 26 to 18. The third quarter showed Rebels holding on to the 39 to 29 lead with support from Shavayah Lee (7pts) and Sarah hagan (6pts). Uni Rebels opened the flood gates in the last quarter and went on a 21 to 7 fourth quarter run to finish the game 60 to 36 rolling past Razzle.

League Men - Razzle Vs Uni Rebels

Uni Rebels Mens was unsuccesful last Saturday night falling to Razzle 58 to 66. Rebels Men started out matching Razzle point for point until some defensive lapses in the last 2 minutes of the first quarter saw Razzle take a 12 to 18 lead to end the quarter. Uni Rebels misfortunes continued in the second quarter and gave up more points and ended the half 29 to 40. Uni Rebels picked up the defensive intensity in the third quarter and rallied behind American import Jay Hardy (27pts) and Rebels Captain Jake Kirby (13pts) to end the quarter 47 to 52. But Rebels could not sustain the energy in the fourth quarter and lost the contest 58 to 66.
