League Men - Palmerston Vs Uni Rebels
Uni Rebels Men's showed a strong performance againt Palmerston last Friday night grabing the win 91 to 76. It was a slow start for Rebels Men falling behind 0 to 5 to start the contest, but Rebels found composure and ended the first quarter 15 to 16. Uni Rebels matched Palmerston point for point in the second quarter and ended the half 34 to 34. The Rebels defensive intensity came alive in the third quarter and led by American imports Jay Hardy (40pts) and new comer Josh Brown (25pts) Rebels ended the quarter 64 to 58. Uni Rebels was able to maintain the advantage and the energy in the fourth quarter behind the clutch shooting of Uni Rebels Captain Jake Kirby (15pts) and was able to come out with the win 91 to 76.
