Uni Rebels take on TV Jets tonight trying to make it 2 straight wins after the mid season break. Rebels League Men started out good hitting the first 4 points of the game by had a hard time stopping TV Jets from scoring and ended the first quarter 21 to 23 disadvantage. Rebels was able to catch up with TV Jets in the second quarter and ended the first half 37 to 37. Uni Rebels got the momentum in the third quarter and took the lead from TV Jets 61 to 58 going in to the final break. But TV Jets hit big 3-pointers and was up 78 to 80 with 9 second left in the game. Rebels called a time out to advance the ball and executed a play drawn to send the game in to over time by sending the ball to Rebels big man Jason Nwisienyi (38pts) and making a lay up infront of the basket to send the game to over time 80 to 80. The scoring opened up for Uni Rebles in extra time with support from Jay Hardy (28pts) and Jake Kirby (16pts); Rebels was able to grind out a win over TV Jets 92 to 86 in over time.
