League Men - Eagles Vs Uni Rebels
Trying to keep building on great defensive momentum from the last two games, Uni Rebels League Men started well against undefeated Eagles and jumped out to a 23 to 15 advantage to finish the first quarter. Rebels maintained the defensive intensity in the second quarter and complimented with great ball movement on the offensive side they ended the first half 42 to 31. In the third quarter Uni Rebels extend the lead to 20 pts with 1:45 left in the quarter 66 to 46, but Eagles star player Anthony Golden went on a 10 point scoring spree to end the quarter and cut the Rebels lead down to 68 to 58. Led by Rebels import Jay Hardy (29pts) and supported by new Rebels player Derrick Scott (20pts), Jason Nwisienyi (16pts) and Captain Jake Kirby (10pts); Uni Rebels Men handed Eagles their first loss of the season 93 to 82. Next Uni Rebels League Men game will be next Saturday against power house team Essington.
