Coaching Staff for 2009

It is with great delight that Therry Penola announces that Dan Madden after
a successful first year coaching stint at Therry will once again be in control.
Madden as senior coach won 5 games in season 2008 lifting Therry out of
relegation in the final few games of the season. This year he will be once
again be assisted by Shaun Rava as well as Ex-Therry Reserves coach and player
Tony McCauliffe whom assisted 19's coach Rod Egglestone in the 2008 season. Two
more additions to this formidable outfit include Ashlee Mills, a former
premiership player for Therry in the 2000 season and former EDFL superstar as
well as Daniel O’Sullivan, also a former Therry Penola premiership family.
Jason Reddick will once again act as the trusty right hand man doing the
running duties

Therry Reserves will also be spearheaded once again of James Saunders. In
his maiden season as coach, Saunder nearly snared a premiership falling short
in the final seconds of the Grand-final to be defeated by 2 points in a brave
effort against the ladder leaders Werribee. Saunders will be assisted this year
once more by James Saunders; Mick Carter will perform the running duties once
more.

The 19's will be coached once again by Rod Egglestone after a stellar 2008 season
reaching the finals series.

Therry warriors will be coached by the ever-greener in Bob Lyons for season
2009. Bob has headed the coaching ranks for the Warriors for well over 5
seasons and this season will call upon Dean Boden, another ever-greener as his
assistant. Mail is Bob will in the current season play close to his 500th game.

Finally, in the 2009 season Therry is proud to announce the introduction of
a Under 18's team as run by the VAFA. This team will accommodate players whom
are 18 years and under giving the club more range for developing our already
young talent. This team will be coached by Steve Gumley, an ex elite footballer
himself whom will add plenty of leadership and experience providing the younger
players with much guidance and skill. He will be assisted by a club entity in
Barney Ratcliffe, an ex Therry player.
