Decorated Senior and Reserve Grade Premiership player who fell about a dozen games short of 200 games. Probably the most humble and generous person with his time and his humour and his manner that the club has ever had. For the writer an individual I admire more than almost everybody else in the club, and outside for that matter. Continues to perform in the most needed area of field umpiring where with his slower and older aged brother Peter (see below) has a strong empathy with defusing potentially volatile and emotional Reserve Grade disputes (often caused by Sean O'Loughlin from the other side of the fence). Also a very diligent and conscious Treasurer who ensured that while the need was always to keep an eye on the 'bottom line' he always balanced this against the financial background of the Club's members.
