Tremendously consistent and speedy Reserves player who continued to zig zag all around the field post retirement as the Senior Runner for many years now. Once took on a whole crowd at Kew one day and was in jeopardy of finishing up in the neighbour's house (cemetery) if it was not for Al Bethune who luckily turned up at three-quarter time to play that day. Always consummately attired and this writer thinks that given his managerial background, his insightful thinking and his strong player empathy he may be the first dwarf to assume the top position one day unless Cam Colliver gets there first.
